Melanie Nakagawa is the Director of Climate Strategy for Princeville Capital, an investment firm backing rapidly growing technology-enabled companies around the world.  Melanie leads Princeville’s climate and sustainability strategy to invest in global companies delivering transformative technology solutions to climate change. Before Princeville, her career spanned government and non-profit sectors.  She was Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Transformation at the State Department leading efforts to support countries implementing clean energy commitments and adopting low carbon technologies. She served as a strategic advisor to Secretary of State John Kerry spearheading efforts on climate change, energy and environment.  Today, she serves on the Board for the Advanced Energy Economy Institute, REVERB, and is a Loomis Council Member.
